On the basis of Hansteel’s ability to supply high quality castings, and as a result of close cooperation with our customers, we have expanded our range of products to include other heavy machinery industries, such as steel making, electric power and the marine industry. All castings are offered to our normal high quality standards and we will work with you to meet any specific additional requirements that you may have.

Where a client has their own machining facilities, upon request, we can supply proof-machined castings after thorough NDT inspections to guarantee the internal quality of castings.

HSI network of foundries specialize in various materials including:

• Manganese steel castings: Mn 13%, Mn 18%, Mn 22% (with/without chrome &/or molybdenum additions)
• High chromium white irons: Cr13%, Cr20%, Cr25% and Ni-hard
• Bronze castings: up to Pb 22% fully machined
• Carbon steel as per Major International standard or customers’ special request
• High strength low alloy castings
• Grey iron, ductile iron
